Our list of demands presented to our city officials concerning police accountability and policy reform.
List of demands
1. Change of policy on use of deadly force. Deadly force should and only will be used if all other avenues of de-escalation and physical restraints have been exhausted. To include Taser and shoot to wound before shoot to kill. Punishment for not adhering to de-escalation policy.

2. Officers will not initiate struggle or demand compliance if no law has been broken or without documented probable cause. Walk away strategy, no stop and frisk policy.

3. An immediate end to private organizations profiting from the criminal justice system.

4. Police to be punished for altercations that occur without documented probable cause and proper warrants.
5. Police will do more than just patrol communities but will document specific interactions with community members in efforts to build positive relationships during shifts.
6. All deadly forces cases will be investigated by independent task force and discipline enforced by civilian review board.
7. Work with community organized de-escalation teams in urban areas.
8. Mandatory culture & diversity training annual requirement for officers.
9.Mental and psychological evaluations every 2 years.
